It was held at Longton Rugby Club, Stoke and everyone had a smashing and very memorable time. We got the party started straight away by performing a mix of party music from modern day contemporary tunes. Then songs through the decades all the way back to the 1950s and also indie rock covers.

The clients original corporate event band had to pull out after an initial booking was placed (They had mistakenly double booked themselves out. This is NOTHING that Punch The Air would ever do). About this corporate party
The anniversary event was held on a Friday night. As the M6 Motorway is hard to judge on any night of the week let alone a Friday. So we had the forethought to arrive at this North Staffordshire party Stoke-On-Trent venue much earlier than planned. There were approximately 80 guests at the anniversary party (including guests partners) which filled the small function room well. Our function band PA and lighting equipment can be resized to handle any size function room, stage, outdoor or indoor festival. There is plenty of space for us to perform within The Love Box as a three piece band but you might struggle if you booked a band with four or more members. Parking and loading in for us is very simple and close by so we are able to move all of our gear in with little to no disruption to guests and staff. Usually loading in our gear, setting up and sound checking at most venues can take about 90 minutes….But at our last performance at Bashall Barn we managed it in just 57 minutes as we know the layout and sound style of the venue so well now. This is because Bashall Barn have a “Sound limiter” installed in the venue. It helps them to be able to still have live bands perform there while adhering to a strict (ish) decibel volume level. ‘Punch The Air‘ have an optional state of the art electronic drum kit for venues with sound limiters. You can be assured we are able to keep within a venues noise limits. When Wedding Guests Go Crazy
What occurred here was a wedding guest was happily dancing along to indie wedding band ‘Punch The Air‘. He then pulled up a chair and his friends pushed him around the dance-floor for a while. All reasonably fine so far right? For whatever reason then (Lets presume he’d had a lot of alcohol to drink) he decided to stand up on the chair on the dance-floor.
