In the 1990’s Christmas film Home Alone, The McCallister family are getting ready to spend time together in Paris, France over the festive season. But they accidentally leave Kevin at their home in Chicago when they awake late due to a power cut. Subsequently Kevin then has to protect the house from burglars in his own unique manner. The film is an absolute Christmas classic and for many years was the highest grossing film of all time. Also starring John Heard and Catherine O’Hara and written & produced by 80’s film legend John Hughes. Furthermore it was directed by Chris Columbus who was pretty much unknown at the time. But is now a massively successful director mostly known for the Harry Potter franchise.

All hoping to convince burglars Harry & Marv that the whole family are still at home. Remember how in the film you saw a life size cut out of basketball star Michael Jordan going by on a train track? Well, indie rock legend Liam Gallagher makes his debut film appearance in our video. Have you ever seen another band go to this time and length to reproduce a pastiche of another film? Furthermore we reshot each clip for clip, scene for scene and laid them out all in sequential order. We seriously doubt you’ll ever find a band who put in as much effort into all of our videos as we do.
Home Alone Burglars Arrested By Police
While shooting the video a neighbour called the Police on Andy thinking he was up to no good trying to break into a house. It was actually very lucky that someone did as Andy had no idea how he was going to film the end scene otherwise. The Police saw the funny side of it though, posing for a selfie with Andy and asking him where his gold tooth was?

The Song – Rockin Around The Christmas Tree
The music video features Punch The Air‘s very own indie cover version recording of the classic Brenda Lee Christmas song ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’. The original song is from the album Merry Christmas from Brenda Lee released December 1962 in the UK. Brenda’s version was actually featured in the original film of Home Alone too when Kevin dances with the mannequins. Which was of course where our Andy got the idea to cover this song and the video from. The song was written by Johnny Marks who also wrote “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas”.

Hednesford Town FC features an excellent sized permanent wooden dance-floor. Which is carpeted around the sides helping to absorb unwanted noise and ringing from the band PA system. It has a good sized licensed bar serving draught beers and a selection of other spirits and soft drinks. Catering can be provided from a simple buffet to a four course waiter service. The main room in this WS14 village hall is a fantastic size for live entertainment, It’s nice and wide and also just the right length. Some echo off the rear wall can be heard bouncing back onto the stage when you hire a wedding band in Shen Stone. But only when there are no guests in the room. So it is soon soaked up when guests arrive at this Staffordshire party venue.

The is a small rear room which is fantastic for serving drink and nibbles from. There is also a side room where you can set up your buffet. The Village Hall Staffs is visible from the main Birmingham Road. But you have to drive through a winding estate to actually reach it. In the main room tables are best pushed to the sides of the room. This give guests plenty of space for dancing on the hard wooden floors.
