Looking for a Milford Hall Wedding Band for your big day at 206 Castle Street, Salisbury? Punch The Air are a three-piece indie rock band who turn a wedding reception into a proper party, with loud (But not too loud) guitars, big choruses (huge choruses in fact) and a dance-floor that stays full until the end. We play the songs your guests actually know and love, and we have the energy to get a room of mixed ages singing along together. Contact band leader Andy to check on fee and availability.

Milford Hall Wedding Band For Your Salisbury Celebration
A wedding at Milford Hall is a day with a very particular mix of people. There will be grandparents, old school friends, work colleagues and a handful of cousins who only appear at weddings. You and that crowd is exactly who we are built for. We formed in 2013 and we play indie rock and pop covers with a lot of swagger, a lot of volume where it counts and plenty of sing-along moments in between.
If you want a proper indie rock wedding band rather than a function band that plays it safe, you have found us. We would much rather see your guests on chairs shouting the chorus than politely tapping their feet at the edge of the room.
What To Expect From Us On The Night
We are a friendly bunch and we like to be easy to work with. You book us directly, so there are no agency fees sitting on top of the price. You deal with the same person (Andy Starkey professional musician) from your first message to the last song, and nobody is passed down a chain of middlemen. We read the room as we go, so if the dance-floor wants something faster or a bit more singalong, we adjust on the spot.
Why Couples Choose A Milford Hall Wedding Band
Most couples tell us the same thing. They want a wedding party that feels like a gig they would have paid to see, not a backing track to dinner. Hiring a live three-piece gives you that. Every song is played properly by real musicians, with real teeny tiny mistakes from time to time (No ones perfect) and real grins, and your guests can tell the difference the moment the first chord lands. It is the kind of wedding reception people are still talking about months later.
Songs Your Guests Will Be Singing
Indie Anthems And Sing-Along Classics
Our set list leans on the big indie and Britpop tunes of the last thirty years, then adds a few pop and rock favourites so every generation gets a look in. You might hear Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis, Dakota by Stereophonics or Buck Rogers by Feeder. Then we might swing into Disco 2000 by Pulp, Day We Caught The Train by Ocean Colour Scene or Rocks by Primal Scream.
Older guests are not forgotten. Ever Fallen In Love by Buzzcocks, Teenage Kicks by The Undertones and Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison usually bring the parents and aunties onto the floor. For a mid-set shout-along, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Muse and Tubthumping by Chumbawamba rarely fail. Laid by James and The You And Me Song by The Wannadies are two more that get a room moving. Have a browse through the full band repertoire and song list and see what you would like to hear.
Timing Your Evening Entertainment
From experience, we find one long set works best. We start after the cake cutting, the buffet and the speeches have all wrapped up, so there are no distractions and your guests give the band their full attention. That said, if you would rather we performed two sets instead then this really isn’t an issue for us. It’s your wedding, so you should have it your way and no other way.
Live Music For The Ceremony And Drinks
If you would like live music earlier in the day, while the prosecco is flowing before the wedding breakfast, Andy also offers a solo acoustic performance designed for exactly that. It sits nicely alongside the full band later on, so you get gentle live music at the start and a proper party at night.
