What to expect from a Marchington Village Hall wedding band on the night
We have found that one long set works best, played after the cake cutting, the buffet and the speeches are out of the way. There are no distractions, your guests are fed and ready to go, and you get the best of the band for the dancing. That said, if you would rather we performed two sets instead then this really is not an issue for us. It is your wedding so you should always have it your way.
Live music earlier in the day
If you would like live music during the ceremony or while the prosecco is flowing before the wedding breakfast, Andy also offers a solo acoustic performance earlier on in the day especially for this.
About Marchington Village Hall
The hall is in the centre of the village, at Marchington Village Hall, The Square, Main Street, Marchington, Uttoxeter, ST14 8LF. The main hall measures 12.5m by 8.5m and works for up to 90 dining guests, or 160 evening guests without tables. It has a sprung dance floor, a lighting rig and a large raised stage that can take an eight-piece band, so a three-piece like ours has plenty of room to spread out.
Bar, kitchen and lounge
Next door is the John Ellwood Lounge, and hiring the main hall includes its catering and bar facilities, plus 12 large tables, 10 smaller tables and 120 chairs. The kitchen is set up for a large party, with crockery and cutlery for 100 place settings, so your caterer is well looked after while we look after the dancing.

Marchington is five miles from both Uttoxeter and Tutbury, and the hall is easy to reach from the A50.
