Pelsall Community Centre Wedding Band: What You Get With Us
We are a guitar-based live band, formed in 2013, with Andy on bass and lead vocals. Nobody is hiding behind a laptop and there are no backing tracks pretending to be a band. What your guests see is what they hear, and that energy is what gets an older relative and a student cousin up on the same dance floor.
We are based in Lichfield, Staffordshire, so if you ever typed “party band in Lichfield” into Google you may already have stumbled across us. A Live Band That Gets Everyone Dancing
Most couples ask us when the band should play, and our answer is always the same. We find one long set after the cake cutting, the buffet and the speeches have all finished works best. There are no distractions, nobody is still queuing for sausage rolls, and you get the very best of the band while your guests are fed, watered and ready to go. That said if you’d rather we performed two sets instead then this really isn’t an issue for us. It’s your wedding so you should always have it your way.
If you fancy live music while the prosecco is flowing before the wedding breakfast, Andy also offers a solo acoustic performance earlier in the day, which is a lovely way to set the mood before the band takes over. Some couples also add a late night DJ once we have finished.

About Pelsall Community Centre
Pelsall Community Centre, also known as Pelsall Community and Arts Centre, sits on Station Road in the heart of Pelsall. The full address is Pelsall Community Centre, Station Road, Pelsall, Walsall, WS3 4BQ. It is a registered charity run by volunteers, and it has served the village for a long time. The Pelsall Community Association was formed in 1946 and the centre was officially opened on 4 September 1965 by Sir Alfred Owen CBE. The grounds were originally part of the Oaklands House Estate, and in 1974 the building was extended with the Oaklands Lounge and Bar.
The centre has a large hall and accompanying rooms, and its own website says it is available to hire for personal celebrations. It also hosts regular live events and shows, so a band in full flow is nothing new to the place. It is always worth speaking to the centre directly about hire arrangements for your wedding reception, then letting us know your timings.
