Needingworth Village Hall Wedding Band: Who You Are Actually Booking
We are a three-piece, formed in 2013, built around guitars, bass and big vocals. Andy sings and plays bass, and the sound is indie rock and pop with enough pace to get a room moving by the second song. If you want a quiet background act, we are probably not the right fit. If you want the bride and groom pulled onto the floor by their own friends, we are.

A wedding party is a mixed crowd, so the set list has to work for everybody. Expect the indie anthems the younger guests will shout back at us, such as Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis and Shut Up And Dance by Walk The Moon. Then we bring in the songs that pull in the older generations, like Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Don’t You Want Me by The Human League.

Timing Your Wedding Party Music
What works best generally is one long set once the cake has been cut and the buffet has been cleared away. Nobody is queuing for food, nobody is wandering off for photographs, and you get the best of the band at your event. That said, if you would rather we performed two sets instead then this really isn’t an issue for us. It’s your wedding so you should always have it your way.
Music Earlier In The Day
If you would like live music during the ceremony or while the prosecco is flowing before the wedding breakfast, Andy also offers a solo acoustic performance earlier in the day, especially for this. It sits nicely alongside the full band later on, and it means one booking covers the whole day.

Needingworth Village Hall sits on Overcote Lane in Needingworth, St. Ives, PE27 4TU, in the Cambridgeshire district of Huntingdonshire. The village is part of the parish of Holywell-cum-Needingworth, and the hall is a well-used community space run by the Needingworth Village Hall Trust. It is also where the local amateur drama group, the Wellworth Players, stage their plays and pantomimes, so it is a hall with a bit of a performing history already.
Every hall has its own hire terms, so speak to the hall trust about capacity, timings and what is included before you set your heart on a date. If you need extras for the day, we also offer microphone and speaker hire for speeches and a late night DJ to carry on once the band has finished.
