The current Hall dates back to the 18th century, with gothic revival details, battlements and pinnacles that give the place a proper fairy tale feel, all set within around 200 acres of parkland and formal gardens. Couples marrying here have their names and wedding date added to the estate’s historic Bell Tower, which is a nice touch of history to be part of.
For the reception itself, the Armitage Suite and Parkland Suite are both bright, air conditioned rooms with their own private bar and space for dining and dancing, comfortably holding up to 120 guests between wedding breakfast and evening party. The Lister Suite handles civil ceremonies under chandeliers with views over the formal gardens, and the Orangery serves as a charming garden bar for the drinks reception and photographs.
