Professional Party Band Live Performance Photos: New Years Eve 2016 into 2017
Our performance at a major Derbyshire event heading into 2017 saw over 200 guests dancing the night away. It is vital to hire entertainment that bridges the gap between generations. During this set, we played Best Song Ever by the British-Irish boy band One Direction, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and was featured on their Midnight Memories album. We also performed Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen. This track, written by Freddie Mercury and released on the Jazz album in 1978, remains a staple of British music. Additionally, we covered Summer of 69 by the Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams, a song from his 1984 Reckless album that continues to define rock radio.
Rotary Club Anniversary Ball in Bath, December 2016
Performing in the historic Bath Assembly Rooms was a highlight of 2016. Despite the challenges of Grade I listed buildings, our state of the art electronic drums allowed us to keep the volume controlled while maintaining high energy. We performed Brown Eyed Girl, originally released by Van Morrison in 1967 on the Blowin’ Your Mind album, and Don’t You Want Me by The Human League. The latter was a massive success, reaching number one in the UK and becoming the biggest selling single of 1981.

August and September 2016 Wedding Season
August and September 2016 were incredibly busy months for our function band. We love performing classics like Ever Fallen in Love by the Buzzcocks, which reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in 1978. We also performed Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, a southern rock anthem that charted highly worldwide. Furthermore, we covered Valerie by Amy Winehouse, originally recorded by The Zutons. Her version reached number 37 in the UK and has since become one of the most covered tracks of the modern era.
