Indie Rock Cover Band Shotgun by George Ezra

Even though indie rock cover music is our main forte and style for ‘Punch The Air‘ we also perform a number of chart hits from present back through the decades. A massive crowd pleaser is Shotgun by George Ezra. Taken from the number one selling album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’. We’ve had a slight little play around with the song and made it our very own. Having given it a slight indie rock cover twist and given guests the opportunity to sing it back to us. Everyone enjoys this brilliant pop tune, all ages old to young as you will see in the George Ezra cover song live video below. Oakridge Golf Club Nuneaton is an excellent venue to hold your Warwickshire wedding reception at. The wedding function band breakfast room is a really good size, able to hold up to about 200 guests. The bar is right in the main room as well which keeps all of your guests together nicely. There is a long raised stage area for the band to perform live on adding a “Real live gig” feel to the room. Loading the bands gear into the wedding venue and onto the staging area couldn’t be easier and more none disruptive to guests. We are able to load in from the rear of building, directly onto the staging area so there is no carrying equipment through the main section of the room at all. Christmas Party Band Xmas Lights Switch On

Due to our massive success at 2018’s Christmas Party Band Xmas Lights Switch On indie rock party band ‘Punch The Air‘ were asked to return for the second consecutive year to Lichfield Christmas Lights Switch on Sunday November 24th 2019. Also we’ve been back many continuous years afterwards. The Christmas event free entry and there was a lot of fun things going on all day and night from about midday until 6pm. There was another Lichfield band playing earlier in the day, a rock choir, a Christmas market and lots more happening off and on the stage. During our indie rock cover band performance in 2019 we decided to mix things up a little bit. We were joined on stage by our optional female lead singer Nina, who sang many female lead songs with us including You’ve Got The Love by Florence + The Machines.
