Punch the Air turned our evening wedding do into a gig. With a perfect blend of indie tunes and some more classic rock songs from the 60s, guests young and old had an ace time. It was the hottest day of the year, and so people were desperate to stay outside, but Punch The Air had so many great methods of getting people involved on the dancefloor: from participation of our guests on stage, to creating a celebratory circle around the bride and groom playing our favourite song. Andy was so accommodating with the setlist, it’s ridiculous – he sent us a (long) list of all the songs Punch the Air do, and let us choose our dream setlist (as we were making playlists for the rest of the day and didn’t want clashes). And despite looking and sounding rock and roll (odd-coloured converse is a funny touch), the guys couldn’t have been nicer, more punctual, or professional. On top of all that, they were properly affordable compared to some other bands we looked at; bands we are fully confident wouldn’t have provided the memorable evening that Punch the Air did.
